What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader is an additional widget to the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. The Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no gameplay benefit other than making it easier to buy upgrades.
Increases the effectiveness of
There are many enhancements that can be obtained with an upgrader. They can include stats and extra bonuses. These bonuses can be utilized on armor, weapons, and trinkets. They can be used to boost the capabilities of a character, or give a new dimension of variety to their character.
The upgrade system in World of Warcraft allows players to increase the level of their equipment by spending money at an upgrader for items NPC. The system was introduced in Mists of Pandaria and was continued with the arrival of Warlords of Draenor. It's a great way to increase the quality of your equipment, which lets you to avoid the tedious grind and avoid the countless wipes in Mythicand Dungeons.
When an item is upgraded, its base type will change. Upgrades to a normal item produce an Exceptional variant, while upgrades to an Exceptional version create an Elite. The item will be able to keep its previous upgrade stats, but will receive an additional bonus from its new base type. The bonus will be randomly chosen from the following: the chance to acquire weapons with a greater damage range and a chance to gain an improved reload speed, or a chance to gain an improved defense roll.
The number of upgrades you make will determine the amount of extras you will receive. Each upgrade will increase the number of extras by up to 3 points. Additionally, every upgrade will also increase the stat that is used to determine the main one by 1.
In addition to the stat boosts, some upgrades will also give a random secondary boost. These boosts can be quite valuable and should be considered when deciding which items to upgrade. Some of these boosts are beneficial in certain builds (such as Whistan's shield for FB sorcs) while others can provide a great deal of value to certain collectors.
Certain items come with inherent boo that is less useful when upgraded, like the Goldwrap that gives you extra potion slots. These are often upgraded to add more value to a near-perfect or perfect item.
Costs
Upgrades have a few associated costs. The most significant cost is the upgrade itself. It can be costly and is contingent on the new value of the item and the number perks it gains. It can also be expensive to upgrade an item to a higher level (such as Explorer > Champion or Veteran > Heroic).
The other is the cost of items needed to upgrade. The items used are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and up) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). Success Rate
The upgrade of an item is dependent on the chance. Like any random system, there is a possibility that it won't work. There are a number of ways to increase the chances of success. This includes using an item called an Upgrade Pity or the addition of extra materials to the upgrade.
The Upgrade Pity can be purchased through the NPC for smithing in Lost Ark. It increases the odds of a successful upgrade by some percentage. It is similar to the luck bonus some items have however it is more reliable. It can be added to any weapon or armor and can be used up to three times.
It is also possible to add a number of additional elements to the upgrade, which increases its chances of success. These materials are displayed in a window above the + button. There are a few limitations. The maximum amount of material you can upload is shown directly above the + button.
Another way to increase the chance of an upgrade achieving success is by using the item known as a Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is helpful if you have an item of equipment that is at the highest level for its tier, or is close to it. It will let you upgrade the equipment to the next level without having to worry about breaking.
If the original source fails the system will be restored to its original state. This is typically a break, but it can also be an upgrade. It is recommended to save upgrades for when you are close to the highest level of an item, and to use it as an option last resort.
There are several items in the Kafra shop that can be used to boost the chances of an upgrade succeeding. You can increase the chances of success by upgrading your equipment several times using HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. Similarly, enhancing the chance to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will also improve the chances of success.
Failure Rate
The upgrader for an item allows players to add a second slot in their equipment. The slots can be used to upgrade an item or apply an enhancement. It is important to note that not all items can be upgraded. The enchantment and upgrade rate is based on the rank of the item. The higher the rank of an item is, the more Zeny items will be needed to upgrade it.

You must have the correct number of cores to do an upgrade normally. Click the button next the item you want to upgrade once you've got the cores. The upgrade window will then show a percentage indicator of your odds of success. The percentage is based on the upgrade level and nature of the product you have selected.
You can also opt for an item that is protected by a safeguard your equipment in the event of failure. This protection is not free however, the cost will be less than the cost of a new item. The protection is only valid once for each upgrade and will last until it is used again.

The interface for the item upgrader may be somewhat confusing, but it's not impossible to navigate. The main menu appears on the left and the upgrade window is on the right.
